As an enthusiastic, multi-instrumentalist teacher, I specialise in providing Voice, Violin and Piano tuition for all abilities and ages, including adults.

I believe that learning to sing or play an instrument should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience that focuses on the basic techniques, as well as building confidence and gaining musicianship, whether preparing for an exam or for your own enjoyment and fulfilment.

Lessons are mainly given from my home, but I am also willing to travel within a reasonable distance of Oxford (providing travelling expenses are paid).

My services include:

Individual music lessons for real one-to-one progress of all abilities
Small group tuition for those of a very similar level
Travel to students who may not be able to come to me
Music Reading and Performance Skills
Aural Training and Playing from Memory
Harmony and Melody
Preparation for exams and grading (Grades 1 to 8) with the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music and the Trinity Guildhall Exam Board

My rates for providing music tuition are:

£20.00 per hour for individual one-to-one lessons
£10.00 per student per hour for group lessons (up to 3 students of a very similar ability)

Discounts are available for block bookings (please enquire for details)
